EU to end mobile roaming charges next year

20130615-084459.jpgThose dreaded European roaming charges are set to disappear next year, according to The Telegraph. Regulators are forcing the end of separate charges for European mobile phones users. Using your phone for calls, texts and the Internet will now cost as much abroad as at home.
This is great news for travellers, at least those from Europe: travellers from further afield will still be charged roaming prices. The news follows on from recent changes that have allowed mobile users to buy a small amount of data for £2 per day whilst travelling in Europe.
